Description: Into his second year, Andy will now begin his first full season in the team after joining half way through his fresher year. I think the phrase 'Don't judge a book by its cover' is a huge under-statement with this player. Despite looking like the smallest and most fragile player in the team, Andy put the most body checks in matches during last season. His heart and determination is the best in the team and with half a season under his belt, his physical style of play will no doubt turn into skills with the stick. There are goals in this talented player, watch this space.

Dimitri Chambers
Number: 85
Year: Fifth
Position: Defence/Midfield
Description: Into his fifth and final year, last years mens captain made last season the most successful one this club has ever had. Dimi is our all-rounder in the team. He has everything you want in a Lacrosse player. Usually seen in the midfield and being first choice face-off man, Dimitri has all the skills needed to beat any player in this league. But when needed, Dimi can also play very well in attack, defense or even goalkeeper.
Any fresher wanting to learn quickly, this is the best player to ask for advice.

Thomas Chandler
Number: 42
Year: Fourth
Position: Attack
Nickname: Pingu
Description: A fourth year, but one of many last years freshers to join the men's team and has the most memorable nickname in the team. Pingu has an eye for attack and has proved to be a vital goalscorer and play-maker during last season. After many shots hitting the post and bar, his hard work paid off and managed to collect three goals in his first year, including one at Varsity.

Daniel Courtnage
Number: 82
Year: Second
Position: Defence
Nickname: Captain Fresher
Description: After already one year in the team, Dan has become one of the most committed players in the team, hence the nickname Captain Fresher. With an Ice Hockey background, Dan has adapted those skills well and seems to be coping very quickly as one of our d-men. He has deserved the title of vice-captain this season and could be the player to end the drought of no defenders ever scoring for Staffs.

Ryan Dillion
Number: 26

David Drysdale
Number: 14
Year: Third
Position: Midfield/Attack
Description: From vice-captain to captain, Drysdale has shown great leadership in the men's most successful team. After the success of last year, Drysdale will try and go one step better to make sure his final year is the best ever with promotion and that important first ever win against Keele at Varsity. He is another player with an Ice Hockey background. Drysdale has shown a combination of big checks and silky stick skills. Expect great things from this all-rounder.

Shane Hall
Number: 99
Year: Second
Position: Midfield/Attack
Nickname: Rat
Description: Shane was our most successful fresher in terms of goals. Shane proved to be a key contributor in the attacking line and the score sheet as he ended the season as the tied fourth highest goalscorer in the team. But also, Shane was known for his amount of penalty minutes and he got involved in a scrap or two. With at least one penalty in every match, this shows that Shane will never give up the cause and will do what ever it takes to win. It will be a tough task to better than last season, but I, and a lot of people think Shane can easily achieve that target.

Matthew Meehan
Number: 6
Year: Third
Position: Defense/Midfield

GP:10 G:0 MOTM:3
Robert Milligan
Number: 29
Year: Second
Position: Midfield/Attack
Nickname: Radio Rob
Description: Whilst playing with the Cricket team, Rob's skills with the Lacrosse stick seems to have developed his own throwing motion that has confused the whole team as to how he got it. But don't judge a book by it's cover, Rob has been dangerous when it comes to dodging and sprinting and I can see this once fresher shine into his second year of playing.

After managing to get one goal in his first year, Nick wants more and many are expecting this player to thrive. He also has a duty of carrying on the Morrissey name in Staffs Lacrosse. Daniel O'Donnell-Mitchell
Number: 10
Year: Second

Sam Page
Number: 15
Year: Third
Position: Attack
Description: Originally part of the hockey team, Sam decided Lacrosse was the sport for him in his second year. If you've seen the Mighty Ducks films, I would relate Sam's shot to Fulton Reed's. Sam doesn't know when to play soft passes, it's bullet shots or nothing for him. After scoring two goals last season, Sam is determined to become our most successful attacker in terms of goals in his final year.
All-Time Stats: GP:12 G:2 MOTM:0
Justin Thomas
Number: -
Year: Second
Position: Midfield
Description: One of many last years freshers that had a lot of commitment for the game of Lacrosse. Justin seems to have a passion to learn and has even got to grips with refereeing a match. A commitee member in the making I see in this player.

Nathan Villiers
Number: 7
Year: Third
Position: Goalkeeper/Attack
Nickname: Jesus
Description: Our most experienced and successful attacker, expect a lot more goals this season from this no-nonense player. Once again, high expectations are on the shoulders of this player.
All-Time Stats: GP:19 G:15 MOTM:1
Daniel Wichler
Number: 65
Year: Second
Position: Midfield
Nickname: German
Description: Our record of attracting Germans continued last year, as Dan 'Ze German' proved to become one of our most aggressive players. Dan seems to show a never-give-up attitude as you always see him battling for those ground balls. During last season Dan's crucial ground balls were the reason for a lot of our wins when it came to the scrappy affairs and now goals are on his mind after coming close on a few occasions. He will also try and make up for one memorable incident last year of almost scoring an own goal for forgetting that we swapped ends at half-time.
