AFTER an impressive debut season Jack has become a key member of both the men's and mixed squads. This season he takes on the responsibility of president to ensure the smooth integration of all three teams. For the first time ever Staffordshire will have three teams entering leagues and so Jack must ensure that all training times, match times and facilities run in tangent with each other, as well as ensuring no arguments arise.
Jack is no stranger to drinking games and has the confidence to lead the socials along with Elle to ensure that the team enjoy things off the pitch, just as much as on it.
HAVING enjoyed an extremely successful year as Vice captain he takes the step up to lead the team. James gained valuable experience during his time as vice on how to run training sessions, matches and arrange behind the scenes events. HIs election as captain means that he is the only member of the committee to keep a position from the previous year, so this experience can only be a benefit for the team.
GOING into her third year with the team, this is the first time Elle has been apart of the committee. She has shown great commitment over the last two years and fully deserves both positions. She is a very popular member of the team and there is no doubts that she has what it takes to be vice captain. At social events Elle was already a key person when it comes to starting games and so is the ideal person to lead the socials.
LIKE most of the committee Nicola is going into her third year and has taken the responsibility of the funding of the club. She will be responsible for all things money related with the mixed team, including shirt and social kit orders, and any equipment or league fees that need sorting out.
HAVING already played three years Rambo is the most experienced member of the team and his inclusion in the Welsh development squad adds an outside influence which not many of the team have experienced. After failing to win a game last year Rambo has a tough task to make a successful team but with Nick helping as Vice there is every chance of improvement.
LIKE Rambo, Nick has three years of experience and has already shown he has the qualities to lead a session, and improve the team. Nick finished top scorer last year and so will be looking to lead from example again to get a couple of wins on the board which the team are so desperate for.
ARGUABLY one of the men's teams most important players Marcus is putting time aside to be treasuruer of the team.
Much the same as Nicola he will be involved in all things to do with finance within the club. Undoubtably Marcus has the biggest ego of the squads, but as he says, someone has to be, so why not him.
BERTI has the tough task of captaining the first ever women's team. But with being the most experienced player out there, she should have no problem in making this debut year, a successful one.
GOING into her second year with the team, Izzy will become the voice of this new team. Last year Izzy showed great commitment and became a vital part of the mixed team. A popular member and there is no doubts that she will fit right in her new post.
GOING in to her final year, Karina will be the women's first treasurer. Being responsible for all things money related with the team, she will be the first person to talk about kit or shirt orders and fees that need sorting.
KNOWN to all as Bungle, he has the daunting task of arranging the social event of the year. Our annual tour has always been the most enjoyable week of the year and it is Bungles responsibility to arrange all the payments and lease with Ilovetour. When tour arrives Bungle will have to organise rooms, and meeting times for both mornings and evenings, often having to round up very hungover players.
