It's been a while since I've put a blog on here due to our postponements, so lets see if I've still got the knack of blogging.
For the first time ever I and a few others are getting the vibes of winning a men's game after our win at Leicester. We definately needed a game like that before Varsity and let's hope we can learn more against Liverpool hopefully on a better pitch.
I never thought I would see a worser pitch then ours, very soft, a virtual bog and very hard to play at our regular pace.
But after the game I can tell everyone was shattered, because we had to work a lot harder on that surface. I know I had to, because I could'nt get running at all which got me very frustrated knowing I couldn't do what I know I can.
Also with a game like that, was a great oppurtunity to actually get used to our plays. Congrats to Jinks who definately deserved his MOTM pint, even though it was a poor attempt of downin' it.
Another congrats has to go to Nathan who downed that pint of Slush in the blinking of an eye, everyone was probably more amazed at that then the match it self.
But back to the match, if we can get that same amount of effort but on a flat and hard pitch then we should have no problem against Keele in terms of fitness.
Let's hope we can beat or at least match Liverpool next time.
