Despite the match being a quarter and a half long I thought you girls played very well against a strong and fast Northampton side.
The biggest positive I saw was the attack, you definately had an eye for goal today. Looking at the possesion as well, you definately made the match look very even. You battled for those ground balls a lot more then your last match against them, which was your first ever match. Just think how far you've come since then.
But the only negative as a team I noticed was your heads dropping after Northampton scored their goals. That gave them the chance to score another one straight away. Always keep your concentration no matter what's just happened.
Congrats to El to get her first ever hat-trick, which takes her to top goal scorer with four. You definately deserved getting women of the match.
Special mentions to new recruit Rachel Townson who played her first game and Sinje, because it was her last match and so got today's 'Dick of the Day' and won us the boat race (just).
Enjoy it back in Deutschland Sinje and I'm sure you will always be thinking of us.
